FAQs

1. How does a digital bomb calorimeter measure calorific value?

The bomb calorimeter determines the calorific value of liquid and solid fuels by burning the sample inside a stainless-steel vessel and measuring the heat released, delivering accurate and reliable fuel analysis results.

The apparatus is built with a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel body, 300 ml calorimeter vessel, and an insulated outer jacket, all designed to ensure precise and consistent calorific value measurements as per IP-12 specifications.

Yes, the bomb calorimeter is suitable for determining the calorific value of both liquid and solid fuels, making it ideal for testing coal, petroleum-based fuels, and other solid combustible samples.

The apparatus includes an electronic firing unit for controlled ignition. For automatic data calculation and reporting features, we recommend contacting our team for available model configurations.
